Jessica Chambless, Robert Chambless, & Jayden Rucker
Jessica is a proud mother to an intelligent and beautiful 12 yo daughter. She currently serves in the army NG, as a Forward Observer with the 48th IBCT 3rd ID 121st regiment. She has been riding horses her whole life and finds them to be home. Riding both English and Western, her passion is with the mustangs. She has competed in numerous Extreme Mustang Makovers and has gentled over 20 mustangs, placing them in loving forever homes. She is also an avid fox hunter. This is her second year competing in the event, and she would like to thank everyone for the spectacular event and opportunity to ride some amazing and talented equines. Jessica will be joined this year by her husband Robert & daughter Jayden!
Samantha Verduzco
Samantha was active duty military until 2021, when she transitioned to reserves to pursue a professional equestrian career. She has faced many challenges to accomplish this goal, but is still trying to pave the way for service members and veterans in the equestrian enterprise.
Korah Kreft
Korah is 12 years old and was born in S. Korea while stationed at Camp Casey. Korah’s dad is active duty army of 18 years. She has been riding since February of this year. She enjoys horses so much that she wants to go to college for an equestrian program. She is also a black belt in taekwondo.
Kendal Mitchell
Granddaughter, daughter and wife of army veterans. Kendal has been around horses since she was born and grew up on a small hobby farm in Kansas. This will be Kendal’s 2nd year competing along side her husband Adam Mitchell - and Army bandsman currently serving at Fort Benning, Georgia.
Adam Mitchell
SGT Adam Mitchell currently serves at Fort Benning as a Trumpet Player with the Maneuver Center of Excellence Band. He has performed as a featured soloist on both on trumpet and voice as well as conductor and drum major. He is very proud of his loving wife, Kendal Mitchell, and there four children Wyatt, Ryder, Benjamin, and Amalia.
Kyle Vinyard
Kyle is an active duty Army Warrant Officer stationed at Ft Novosel, Alabama. He has been in the military for over 20 years and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He also served overseas tours in Romania, South Korea, and the Republic of Georgia. He is currently serving as a Training, Advising, Counseling Officer at the Warrant Officer Candidate School. He is an AQHA Amateur Ambassador and an AQHA World Show Level 2 Champion.
Nicole Gaylor
Nicole is a veteran spouse of 16 years. For the past 10 years, Nicole has worked with soldiers on injuries they received on the job and help them to regain their strength. For the last 8 years, she is the fiance to a veteran with PTSD and TBI issues.
Brian Price
Brian served in the military for 10 years before having an injury and having to get out. Brian states that horses have helped him with his PTSD and TBI.
Addison English
Addison is the daughter of an active duty member of the Air Force. She loves riding, and has had lessons at two different barns. Unfortunately, she had to stop lessons last year. Her family is hoping to get her back doing regular lessons soon.
Carley Gunnell
Carley's husband is currently active duty in the army, with 8 years served so far. She is a veterinary student at Lincoln Memorial who wishes to work on zoo animals once she graduates. She comes from a long line of equestrians, competing her entire childhood and even in college on an IHSA team. Horses will always be home for Carley.
Ashlie Stahl
Ashlie has served 13 years in the AD Army, starting out signal, then joining Civil Affairs, and has deployed numerous times to Africa. Ashlie was on special duty assignment of Black Daggers which was a USASOC free fall team that traveled around the states and Europe skydiving for recruiting opportunities and air shows. She frequently jumped the American flag for the National Anthem. Now Ashlie is a full time student working towards becoming an RN. She currently owns two horses and board on post Fort Benning. Her husband is AD military as well. She grew up in and around the military.
Brandon Lee Perreault
Brandon is a former US Army Information Technology Specialist, from Gainesville, Florida. He is a 100% Disabled Veteran TDIU. Currently, he is a History Education major at Kennesaw State University.
Jace Lasseter
Jace is a Marine Corps veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jace served with 5th Battalion 10th Marines in Al Anbar Province in 2005, and currently reside in Bethlehem, Ga with his wife Regan and two kids, Joe and Ali.
Amber D Williams
Amber is a Licensed Vet Tech who has been lucky to take her career with me around the world with her Army husband. She has a great passion for animals and looks forward to the day when they can have a lot of space and rescue anything that comes their way.
Dawn Parker
Dawn Parker has a deep-rooted passion for the Paint Horse industry, once competing as an All-Around Amateur exhibitor. In 2011, she achieved a major career highlight by winning the APHA World Championship title in Novice Amateur Showmanship.
When life took a new direction, Dawn chose to pause showing horses to serve in the Army alongside her husband, Ben. She served for nine years as an Intelligence Analyst, stationed at Fort Campbell and Fort Gordon, and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
After leaving the military to focus on family, Dawn returned to the Paint Horse community and now serves on the Palmetto Paint Horse Club Board as Secretary. She has found herself ringside once again, managing shows and supporting the next generation of exhibitors. Now living at Fort Gregg-Adams, where Ben is currently stationed, she finds joy in watching her three-year-old daughter, Lainey, light up in the leadline class—continuing the family’s love of Paint Horses into the next generation.
Illianna Morel
Originally from South Florida, Illianna's love for horses began early and has only grown stronger over the years. She was blessed to own her own horse, Misdemeanor (affectionately known as Missy), before her husband enlisted in the Army. His military service brought their family to Fort Benning, Georgia, where they currently reside.
As an active duty military spouse, Illianna has learned to adapt and stay grounded through life’s transitions—horses have always been a constant source of peace and joy for her. Her and her husband are raising three amazing kids, along with two dogs and a lively little flock of chickens. She is excited for the opportunity to connect with fellow horse lovers and continue growing in her horsemanship journey.
Nicole Plonk
Nicole is currently on year 7 of being active duty Army. She works in Intelligence. Nicole recently PCS’d here from Schofield Barracks with her husband and 2 kids. She has ridden all of her life!
Caylin Border
From small town Clear Spring Maryland to military spouse and mom - the Air Force has brought Caylin's family to places she never thought she would see and she is grateful to share this opportunity!
